TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The MATC Bath Temperature Indicators utilize innovative Encapsulated Liquid Crystal technology. The standard Temperature Indicators incorporate three basic temperature ranges, these being “Too Cold” (less than 36 degrees Celsius or 97 degrees Fahrenheit), “Ideal” (36-38 degrees Celsius or 97-101 degrees Fahrenheit), and “Too Warm” (above 38 degrees Celsius or 101 degrees Fahrenheit). The temperature readings provided are accurate to within 0.5 degrees Celsius at each level. All of the MATC ELC products can easily be calibrated and printed with Fahrenheit temperature readings for suitability within certain countries! The standard format MATC Bath Temperature Indicators card format measures 8.5 cm X 5.5 cm (3 3/8” X 2 1/8”), has a 18/1000” (18 PT.) PVC Plastic support, and includes four colour printing on the ELC Temperature Indicator side and two colour on the reverse. Individual custom orders can be die-cut to client specifications in any shape requested. MATC also has an existing die for a standard “Duck” shape as per samples provided. The standard ELC strip measures 5 cm X 1.5 cm (2” X 5/8”). Both sides are also protected by a transparent plastic film.
