PRODUCT SUMMARY INFORMATION
Many adults often enjoy the taste of a refreshing chilled beer or glass of wine! Prior to consumption, however, it is often difficult to know whether the beer or wine is within the optimal temperature range for serving. With beer and wine, it is important that it is served at just the right temperature to maximize both the aroma and taste. Now, with the introduction of the new MATC Beer & Wine Temperature Indicators from the Measurement and Technology Company, you can easily check the temperature of your beer or wine prior to consumption. Simply place an MATC Beer or Wine Indicator card around the bottle or can, with the ELC side facing in, and within seconds, the specially formulated ELC strip on the card will provide a clear visual indication of the temperature range of the contents, so that a determination can be made as to whether or not the beverage is at the optimal temperature range for serving.
The MATC Beer & Wine Temperature Indicators, as with all items in the MATC Encapsulated Liquid Crystal product line, can be custom printed or die-cut into any shape. The MATC Beer & Wine Temperature Indicators will remain active and accurate for a period of 5 years or more, providing literally thousands of positive impressions for the brand or company in the future.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The MATC Beer and Wine Temperature Indicators utilize innovative Encapsulated Liquid Crystal technology. The standard Beer Cards incorporate three basic temperature ranges, these being “Too Cold” (2-6.5 degrees Celsius or 35-44 degrees Fahrenheit), “Ideal” (6.5-10.5 degrees Celsius or 44-51 degrees Fahrenheit), and “Too Warm” (11-15.5 degrees Celsius or 52-60 degrees Fahrenheit). Although different in calibration, the Wine Cards provide three temperature ranges as well, these being “Sparkling Wines” (4-8 degrees Celsius or 39-46 degrees Fahrenheit), “White Wines” (12-16 degrees Celsius or 53-61 degrees Fahrenheit) “Red Wines” (19-23 degrees Celsius or 66-73 degrees Fahrenheit). The temperature readings provided are accurate to within 0.5 degrees at each level. All of the MATC ELC products can easily be calibrated and printed with Fahrenheit temperature readings for suitability within certain countries. When the ELC display is green, this would represent the middle temperature point for each level, this being the most suitable generally accepted temperature for serving. The standard MATC Beer and Wine Temperature Indicator card format measures 8.5cm X 5.5 (3 3/8” X 2 1/8”), has an 18/1000” (18PT.) PVC Plastic support, and includes up to four over four colour printing. The ELC strip measures 5 cm X 1.5 cm (2” X 5/8”). The standard format is die-cut with rounded corners and both sides are protected by a transparent plastic film.
